The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta (right), accompanied by the Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro (left), and the mayor of Villanueva del Río Segura, José Luis López, today opened the front the church of Our Lady of the Assumption, which has been financed with funds from the regional executive.

After the opening, the bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes (center), accompanied by the pastor of the county (second from left), blessed the temple.
