The Ombudsman for the Region of Murcia, José Pablo Ruiz Abellán, today met with the mayor of Villanueva del Río Segura, José Luis López Ayala.
During the meeting I explained what are the powers of the High Institution represents and its intention to collaborate with the City, to provide citizens with the processing of queries.
He said the Ombudsman in the Region of Murcia has entrusted the defense of fundamental rights and freedoms of all citizens against the actions of the Administration.
Ruiz Abellán said his intention is to bring the institution to all citizens, making it known, explaining what their responsibilities and what the operation thereof.
For its part, the mayor of the town has shown its commitment to adhere to an agreement of collaboration in public care.
Under the agreement, citizens of the municipality may enter the institution through various technical and management systems within their administrative council, which will allow the collection and send their complaints / suggestions bound to the Ombudsman.
